Concepts Of Reality.

Who are we? What are we? Where do we come from? These are in the history of humanity the most frequently asked questions but why? For what reason are we so disposed to ask such things why can we not be happy just being? Surely there is more to life than a job, having children, doing worthwhile things and then dying. For me this is the problem constantly questioning the reality that we live in, for could earth be just a mere pixel, making up just a minute portion of a gargantuan image, what that image is I want to know and until I find out I cannot possibly be content with the so called life that I have been blessed with.

Imagine, for example that just as a singular molecule in our toe is part of a system and that system is one of millions that makes up our being. This strikes me as slightly familiar, pangs of hot,  sweaty, science classrooms jumps to the forefront of my mind. The similarity between the molecules in our body that form systems that work to keep us working, surely the universe is the same but on a larger level solar systems, the star at the centre with planets orbiting it, like the nucleus (the star) and orbiting electrons (the planets) now imagine that on the same level that a molecule makes up part of a system in our body what if the solar systems form other systems (universes) to make universal body? Knowing that the light that has travelled to us in the 13.7 billion years since the big bang only shows us the minutest part of our universe just bear that in mind. What if we are part of universe which in turn forms a body of godly being and conscious and that with that body there are other bodies formed from other universes and they in turn form a super celestial society......... then........... what are we.........

GOD OLD GILL.

REAL SEE'S REAL.

Our quest for a fairer education.

‘Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school’
Why? That word is something special.  It is a question, that explores the very existence of the human boundaries, why does this work the way it does? why do we have to do that like that? It is a question that is unfortunately shunned by the institutions of today. Schools , colleges and universities , the factories of societies most prized possession , the youth of today  shun students who question the system and the way it works. These students, the prized possession of what our future holds in store for us, are told this is the way it works, this is the way it must work and  this is the way it will work. In most cases the student will listen and not question, go on to get a mid level job in an office , get married and pile on a massive debt and mortgage. The rest of his life, he will spend slaving away to clear that very debt and mortgage he so happily took on one day. Now , what does happen to that student who question the way the world works?
Well those students that question why  things happen as they do, need to be nurtured , they need to be polished, they need to be mentored because essentially they are the thinkers and leaders of the future, ultimately the Darwin’s, the Warhol’s, the Lennon’s, the Kerouac’s of the future. Every child is born with a gift, a burning passion whether its to become a builder, a plumber, a dancer, a lawyer or a writer something they know in the deepest corners of their heart they will be good at. Surely if a young person knows he will be good at something, he will strive through endless ahrd work to achieve   perfection and greatness in his craft, his talent and eagerness for a craft should be nurtured , because ultimately would a client rather have an eager , willing and interested builder or a builder who’s praying for the shift to end so he can go home with his money.
To become the best at ones  craft its vital, to question the many different aspects of your craft. Questioning things allows one to understand how things really work, and perhaps as everyone is different what’s ones rule to another mans hindrance, this goes with the saying one mans heaven is another man’s hell. Why and how things work allows one to personalize rules, ideas, concepts and systems to ones advantages  depending on what he’s good at.
But how can this be achieved? This bending  of rules to match ones natural advantages when questioning is shunned by institutions who lay down the rules. Schools and colleges focus on the only route in life they understand and are willing to accept: i get my gcse’s, i get my a-levels, i go to university and then i get a job.  But what the system fails to do is recognise and understand is the vast amounts of different paths that can lead you to that ultimate goal. Perhaps its time that the institutions of today realise this and begin expanding their field of knowledge and expertise to help the talent that was never made for colleges, schools or universities because otherwise many children and young adults will carry on getting failed by the system . Ultimately why build a system around one type of person , when essentially everyone is different.

HOWARD ZINN.

"You are saying our problem is civil disobedience, but that is not our problem
Our problem is civil obedience.

Our problem is the numbers of people all over the world who have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience.

Our problem is that people are obedient all over this world, in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war and cruelty.

Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country.

THAT'S OUR PROBLEM."

Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.

“Society gives the feeling to every person that he is worthless. It is a political strategy. Once a person gets the idea that he is worthless, he cannot be rebellious, he cannot be independent, he cannot go outside the fold. He cannot choose a path of his own, he will follow the crowd.
Once the idea sinks deep into your unconscious that you are worthless you cannot trust yourself; you will have to trust the priest, the politician, the teacher, the parents — all kinds of authorities. And you will seek them, you will cling to them because the ground underneath your feet has been taken away. You are afraid to be left alone on your own because then you know you cannot decide, all that you decide is wrong; you cannot act, whatsoever you do is wrong. Then it is better to follow the mob; let them decide, you just be an imitator.

To create imitators and slaves each child’s trust in himself is being destroyed all over the world, in all kinds of societies and cultures, in all countries.

My effort here is to give you again the feeling of worth, a self-trust — and that is possible only through meditation, because meditation can help you get rid of all conditionings. And it is only a matter of conditioning. Others have told you things again and again, they have hypnotised you. That hypnosis has to be destroyed, you have to be dehypnotised.

That’s what meditation is: a process of dehypnotisation. Once you are dehypnotised you wake up for the first time, then suddenly you know that you are immensely valuable, as everybody else is. Then one feels tremendous respect for oneself also. And it is not ego, because you feel the same respect for others. You are not higher, you are not holier than others; suddenly you have known that everyone is esteemed by nature itself, by the universe itself.”

INNER SANCTUM

There is a notion of purity but how do we define it? Is it jogging, not smoking and reading books? Is it leading the high life which expands minds but leaves them fragile to perception and mentalities that control our physical being? Separate yourself from your body because as a whole your body is the weakest part of your being, made up of elements that cannot control themselves they are just put here to retrace the steps of a million years and a million people, your mind is the essence to our being and it is that that needs to be explored.
Minds can and will bend certain truths to become redundant and unexplored, the plausible truths are the ones we accept but in a world of paradigms, we must challenge this all too easy flow. The eyes can deceive, the eyes can only take in what we see and all the things we see effect our lives so avoid using your eyes to find the recognition you want. Let your mind be the eyes on the world you wish to perceive.
Perception, How one perceives something to be is central it maintains the way we interact with society, someone’s perception of beauty maybe another’s perception of hate this is something conjured up by the mind to interrogate ones senses, instead to  go blind into the world perceive nothing, change nothing,  absorb everything.
The social paradigms of our era suggest a very perturbing future ahead of us, no longer will we use bullets and missiles to destroy humanity but instead we computerize and digitalise our hate for our beloved human race. These social outlets corrupt the purity of our mind, devolving it into a nothing more than an inlet for media to infiltrate.
My own personal hypothesis is that we as a people put on earth are trapped in a box, a box with no dimensions, shape or weight but one of a mental nature into which we are stuck caught up in a facade of hate treachery and lies. Once recognised this box looses it confinements and gradually hopefully will diminish leading, eventually to enlightenment as to who we are, what we are and why were here.
People may say I’m strange, for my own personal beliefs, maybe I am maybe this is conjured up from my mind but any one who believes in a religion is doing the same as myself but I choose not to label it as this only limits the depths of which we can use our imagination to find the key to a better, progressive society.
